The Exhibition

In the mid-sea there sits a wasted land
Inferno/XIV/94

I.Q. Project is an exploratory art project, inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Inferno.

The past is a point of reference, not a place of residence… Dante’s work served as a guide, not a frame.

The visions and interpretations of the Minotaur and the Labyrinth influenced the realization of the entire exhibition. In the course proposed, the Minotaur is the mentor of the victim, like Virgil accompanying Dante in his crossing of Hell. It serves as a reading guide for the various paintings in the Innocence Quest series.

Through paintings, installations, photographs, videos and writings, this exhibition immerses us in the mind of a person whose reason is altered, in his/her struggle against his/her own demons, his/her quest for innocence.
